Dune Fitness — Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Dune Fitness account and all associated data at any time. This page explains both how to delete your account from inside the app and how to request deletion if you no longer have access to it.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

1. Open the Dune Fitness app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT & DATA.
5. Confirm twice when prompted.

Your account and associated data are removed immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, or you'd prefer we handle the deletion for you, send an email from the address associated with your account to:

We will verify your identity, delete your account and data, and confirm completion by email within 7 days of receiving your request.

What gets deleted

The following is permanently removed when your account is deleted:

• Your account profile (email, name, username, date of birth, role)
• Biometrics and body measurements (height, weight, body fat, etc.)
• Workout history and completed workout logs
• Solo workouts and personal workout presets
• Trainer programs you created (if you are a trainer)
• Friend connections, friend requests, and shared activity
• Competitions you participated in or created
• Appointments and schedule data
• Friend invite codes you generated
• Authentication credentials

What may be retained

We may retain limited information after account deletion only where required by law or for legitimate operational reasons:

• Anonymized usage data — aggregate, non-identifying analytics that cannot be linked back to you.
• Backups — encrypted database backups may contain residual data for up to 30 days before being permanently overwritten.
• Legal compliance records — minimal records we are required to keep by applicable law (e.g., financial or tax records, if any).
